Octavia Wilson
OROFINO, Idaho, Jan. 26 - Word has been received here of the death in Oakland, Calif., of Mrs. Octavia Wilson, 77, a former resident of the Orofino area.
Mrs. Wilson was born September 8, 1883, at Dry Forks, W. Va., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.D. Snyder. The family moved west in 1897, settling in the Orofino area.
She moved to Oakland about 30 years ago where she operated a boarding house for several years. She was married about 15 years ago to Phil Wilson, who died in 1953.
Survivors in this area include five sisters, Mrs. Veta Bonner and Mrs. Anna Taplin of Clarkston and Mrs. Bertha Bradshaw and Mrs. Rose Pasilla of Orofino and Mrs. Lottie Ball of Pierce; a brother, Amos Snyder, Orofino.
The funeral was to be in Oakland.
